Diplomë "Bachelor": Interior design and product

The Bachelor Program in Interior and Product Design is a 3-year (180 ECTS) program offered by the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Creative Industries at "Barleti" University. The program combines artistic, technical, and spatial knowledge to prepare students as complete professionals in the fields of interior and product design.

Over the three academic years, students acquire advanced competencies in interior space design, product and industrial design, parametric design, visual language, materials technology, architectural survey, and applied digital design, as well as skills in packaging, image promotion, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship in the creative industries.

The curriculum is built on a strong theoretical and practical foundation. The first year introduces students to the fundamentals of artistic and visual training — principles of drawing and illustration, representation sciences, art and architectural history, aesthetics, photography, and the composition of form and space.

The second year enters the core of the specialization with Interior Design Studio, Artisanal and Industrial Design Studio, Design History, Visual Language, Architectural Survey, Materials Technology, and Applied Digital Design.

The third year deepens this training with Parametric Design Studio, Packaging, Image Promotion, Digital Marketing, Building Systems, Research Methods and Academic Writing, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, concluding with a Professional Internship and the Thesis and Diploma Project, where students apply their acquired skills to real-world projects.

The teaching methodology is studio-based, combining theoretical lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions, and individual and group project work, using professional 2D/3D modeling and parametric design tools as well as the Adobe Creative Suite.

Graduates of this program are ready to integrate immediately into the job market as interior designers, product and furniture designers, and spatial visualizers, or to pursue further studies at the Master level.
