The mission of Barleti University is to prepare high-level students, innovative professionals, creators and entrepreneurs, capable of challenges of the present and the future, as well as committed citizens of a world of change and continuous development. Study programs aim at a rich and all-inclusive academic offer by creating active student experience, applied research, business and entrepreneurship services etc.

The vision of "Barleti" University is the creation of an institution of quality higher education, which offers true values ​​of professionalism and citizenship, combining education with the spirit of entrepreneurship and implements it through the natural combination of online and face-to-face services in its premises. Within its vision,UniBa aims to become an innovative and leading institution, digital, applied and practical, interactive and community, labor market oriented, placing the student at the center and developing regional and international collaborations.

"Barleti" University tends to offer university studies in different cycles and in accordance with the European Qualification Framework and the Albanian Framework of Professions, based on research and innovation and closely related to the practice of application, in order to prepare techniques, well-trained specialists and experts.

UniBa aims to develop formative and training programs as well as to provide educational, social and cultural services in a broad European and international perspective. In the context of lifelong learning, it aims to offer short-term study programs for qualifications and specializations, as well as for updating the acquired knowledge.

To fulfill its purpose, UniBa can contract, cooperate and enter into agreements with public and private entities for joint didactic activities, teaching practices, research and consulting services to third parties.
UniBa aims to carry out various development projects, which can focus on the construction, reconstruction or equipment of the necessary infrastructure, laboratories, auditoriums, or certain buildings and territories in the service of the academic process, recreation, sports activity or student life, staff and the city where they operate.

STRATEGY

As part of its new strategy 2020-2030, UniBacarries out its activity based on five main pillars:
1. Academic Pillar: focused on academic activities through the combination of educational services, online with face-to-face activities.
2. Student at the Center: focused on student and community activities;
3. Pillar of Applied Research and Innovation: focused on scientific and applied research activities, innovation and projects in various fields such as justice, government, economics, trade, industry, technology, informatics, energy, etc.
4. Corporate and Administrative Pillar: focused on activities of an administrative nature.
5. Entrepreneurial Pillar: focused on the activities of enterprises set up by the institution, in order to fulfill its mission.

Academic Pillar

Academic activities perform a complete modern academic process, with the aim of carrying out with efficiency and high quality the teaching process. The basic purpose is equipping students with contemporary knowledge, consolidate theoretical knowledge in the fields cultivated in this process, with professional skills and human qualities, morals, communication skills and basic techniques of receiving, processing, giving scientific and technical information, based on modern teaching and learning methods, led by a trained and well experienced professor. The innovation in this regard will be the provision of teaching and learning processes according to the "combined model" online and "face to face".

Student at the Center

The student is in the center of attention, firstly, in terms of attention and care for his scientific and professional training, the application of active and stimulating teaching methods, the creation of rich illustrated and creative teaching conditions. In this perspective, he is encouraged to feel like a collaborator in all activities for the concretization of knowledge produced in the institution, in constant communication with the local community of public administration, business and civil society.

Pillar of Applied Research and Innovation

The institution carries out fully applied research work, with important elements and tasks in the field of innovation, with different goals for start-ups and development of enterprises in the fields. It cultivates, ensuring the training of students for entrepreneurship initiatives (start-up); it covers its areas of training with community-based study projects, tangible practical results and innovative elements in the service of re-dimensioning and reconsidering its academic structure in terms of study programs and directions and research methods.

Corporate and Administrative Pillars

The administrative activity of the institution perfectly combines the well-known institutional administrative organization with the direction, management and administrative-academic organization, creating a corporate system suitable for its university academic nature. The statute and the system of its academic regulations, based on a Code of Ethics, are perfectly integrated with the activity of the classical administration that supports the academic and research processes financially, materially as well as from the point of view of necessary logistics, by ensuring the fulfillment of state standards of a well-cooperating academic system.

Entrepreneurship Pillar

The responsible bodies of the institution have elaborated the organizational scheme for the development of an institutional strategy for the commercialization of knowledge and the development of entrepreneurship, in cooperation with counterpart institutions and business. The institution continues to incubate new academic and research-development environments rich in profiles and insists on encouraging its creative academic forces to create the nuclei of entrepreneurship that applies and applies at a practical level the knowledge cultivated in the institution, trying to benefit the full nature of a third generation European university.
