Brussels, June 2, 2025 — Barleti Medical Group (BMG) took an important step forward in its commitment to healthcare innovation by participating in the high-level event “Facilitating the Implementation of the European Health Data Space from Bavaria to Europe”, held in Brussels. Organized by EIT Health Germany-Switzerland, the event convened leading stakeholders from across Europe to explore the regional and EU-wide implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
Representing BMG was Michele Biring-Pani, Business Development Director and recently appointed Local Representative for the EIT Health Innovators Community in Albania. Her participation emphasized Albania’s growing presence in the European digital health ecosystem and reaffirmed BMG’s mission to drive innovation and collaboration in healthcare.
The EHDS initiative is designed to establish a comprehensive framework for the secure and efficient sharing of health data across the EU—empowering patient care, accelerating research, and supporting evidence-based policymaking. The event featured exchanges on best practices, key challenges, and emerging opportunities through regional case studies and collaborative efforts.
BMG’s engagement in this landmark event reflects its strategic vision of embedding Albania within broader European health innovation networks. Through active involvement in EHDS-related initiatives, BMG is positioned to play a vital role in the digital transformation of healthcare, both nationally and regionally.
