The Integrated Program in Dentistry aims to equip students with knowledge of basic and in-depth theoretical concepts and practical skills for the practice of dentistry in accordance with the requirements of the European Community Directive 78/687 CEE for the practice of dentistry. the profession of dentistry. The study program equips students with the most modern methodology of scientific and professional training, which enables full knowledge of oral health problems of healthy and sick people.
The program is designed and organized based on training disciplines, integrating the theoretical scientific knowledge obtained from the basic training sciences of the dentist, with the pathological and clinical knowledge of general medicine, and increasing professional knowledge and skills, in order to recognize and evaluate critically from a clinical but also social-cultural point of view, data on the state of health and disease of the individual's stomatal apparatus.
The study program in Dentistry includes, in addition to knowledge of general education, also knowledge in professional subjects such as dental hygiene, therapies, prophylaxis in the part of dental disease prevention, and subjects that train the professional in the ethical and humane management of patient problems. The professional/clinical practice envisaged to be developed during the learning process, in addition to the practical training of the student, also serves to train him to communicate with the patient.
